We are looking for an organized floor manager to supervise all activity at the production site; including training, assisting, and monitoring staff, managing inventory, and ensuring workflows and production remain on time.

In this role you will be the on-site team leader of 8+ employees and contractors. Your primary objective is high-quality production of Cargoroo’s electric, shareable cargo bikes. Your goal is on-time deployment to our fleets in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, and England.

You will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure that all workstations are organized, supplies are inventoried and ordered on time, perform regular inventory audits, ensure personnel are trained and motivated, tasks delegated, and production remains on on-time.

To be successful as a floor manager you should have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized. You must be flexible, plan for contingencies, be calm under pressure, motivate team members, and be able to delegate duties to staff members while making sure that the staff is trained for their assigned roles.

🚀 Roles & responsibilities

  • Supervise staff
  • Train staff to perform allocated roles
  • Manage inventory & conduct regular inventory audits
  • Track shifts, hours, and breaks of all production team members
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure on-time production
  • Communicate & advocate for production site needs
  • Troubleshoot bicycle maintenance tasks
  • Assist Production Manager

💛 Requirements

  • MBO or equivalent.
  • Experience in bicycle maintenance (or other gearhead experience)
  • Prior experience as a team-leader (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized.
  • Experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite
  • English Speaker (Dutch helpful)
