Financial controller

🚀 Roles & responsibilities

  • Financial controller
  • Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Evaluating and optimising financial controls and procedures.
  • Managing accounts receivable and payable, as well as expenses.
  • Keeping records of invoices and tax payments, as well as reviewing and processing reimbursements.
  • Preparing income statements, balance sheets, and budgets.
  • Identifying financial liabilities and performing risk analysis on liquidity and cash flow.
  • Resolving account discrepancies and performing account reconciliations.
  • Preparing financial reports, including projected returns on investment and growth rates.
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in financial administration.
  • HR Admin
  • You ensure that all personal admin and payroll related changes are processed accurate and in time.
  • You prepare contracts, reports and you support our sick leave process with all admin related tasks.
  • You manage our onboarding, cross boarding and off boarding processes.
  • You are the process owner of our Performance Management process.
  • You monitor the HR annual calendar and you prepare the various HR processes. This includes also training of new employees and managers in our processes.
  • You answer questions of managers and employees about conditions, procedures, relevant laws and regulations, pension and insurances etc.
  • You also contribute to the development of our HR Service centre through continuous improvement mindset.
  • You support the CEO and manager on HR related matters
